Siemens Mechanical Drives honours RINGSPANN with the Supplier Award 2016

Thanks to its outstanding performance in the field of "Account Management", a few days ago the drive element manufacturer RINGSPANN was honoured with the Supplier Award 2016 by Siemens Mechanical Drives. The Bad Homburg company received this award particularly for its high quality and reliability in providing support to its key customer.

Bad Homburg, March 2017. – There can only be one! A few days ago, Siemens Mechanical Drives presented the Supplier Award 2016 to the very best amongst its network of around 300 subcontractors and suppliers. In the category of "Account Management" the coveted award went to the drive element specialist RINGSPANN. The Bad Homburg company received the prize primarily for the outstanding commitment it displayed in the support it provided to its customer. "We are particularly delighted about this Supplier Award from Siemens because it is a visible recognition of the high level of customer orientation our entire sales team displays every single day, which goes far beyond just the product delivery", stressed Nico Hanke, RINGSPANN′s Head of Sales.

Comprehensive technical support

As an international manufacturer of industrial gearboxes for mining and many other industrial sectors, Siemens Mechanical Drives utilises drive technology elements and components from almost all RINGSPANN divisions. In addition to freewheels and brakes, it also employs overload protection devices, shaft couplings and shaft-hub connections. "This shows the benefits that the technologically interdisciplinary and across-the-board support of this key customer yields. For example, by way of the high consulting quality and problem-solving expertise of sales staff, consistent delivery reliability or a high degree of flexibility in engineering and logistics,", explains the Head of Sales, Nico Hanke. And it is these product-related factors of the account management in particular that led to Siemens Mechanical Drives honouring RINGSPANN with the Supplier Award 2016.

Thematic displays at Hannover

RINGSPANN will be providing a detailed, comprehensive overview of its key customer services and product portfolio at this year′s Hannover Messe in Hall 25. Here, the company will also be showing off a new exhibition concept for the first time at Booth D13, which presents the various RINGSPANN products in various thematic displays organised according to industries and customers. The Siemens Supplier Awards 2016 accolade, too, is sure to be a hot topic of discussion at the trade fair.
